Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation, regulations, and policies to recommend evidence-based solutions
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research and prepare concise policy briefs for executive leadership
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives across state departments
- Monitor federal policy developments and assess implications for Georgia's regulatory framework
- Present findings to legislative committees, agency directors, and public stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams to address emerging public policy challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proven ability to draft clear, persuasive policy memos and legislative summaries
- Proficiency with statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata) and policy databases
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement
- Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to travel statewide
