Responsibilities
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform evidence-based policy recommendations

- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for legislative review and executive action
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with local government officials and community leaders
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on state operations
- Manage grant compliance reporting for federal funding programs
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals and regulatory language
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with NC state budget processes and procurement regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., CPPA, CPAP) preferred
