Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues affecting DC residents
- Develop data-driven recommendations for legislative initiatives
- Coordinate with agency stakeholders to implement policy solutions
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for senior leadership
- Monitor federal and state legislation with local impact
- Lead cross-functional project teams on priority initiatives
- Present findings to public officials and community partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and coalition building
- Deep knowledge of DC's legislative and regulatory landscape
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
