Responsibilities
- Analyze complex economic data and policy trends to inform strategic recommendations
- Develop and evaluate policy proposals for business attraction and workforce development
- Collaborate with state agencies, local governments, and private sector partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess impacts on Tennessee's economy
- Lead cross-functional projects to streamline regulatory processes
- Advise senior leadership on emerging economic opportunities and challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or economic development
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and public speaking
- Deep understanding of Tennessee's economic landscape and regulatory environment
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- US citizenship required for security clearance
