Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state initiatives
- Analyze socioeconomic data to identify emerging trends and program gaps
- Coordinate interagency task forces to implement public health and infrastructure projects
- Present findings to legislative committees and community stakeholders
- Manage grant compliance for federal-state partnership programs
- Lead cross-functional teams during public emergency response protocols
- Monitor federal regulatory changes affecting Florida's coastal communities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven track record of successful legislative advocacy
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Certification in Public Administration (CPA) preferred
- Demonstrated crisis management experience
- Experience with Florida's Sunshine Law compliance
