Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for legislative review
- Collaborate with 20+ agencies to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and council members
- Manage policy evaluation frameworks and performance metrics
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Stata, or Python)
- Demonstrated success in translating data into actionable policy
- Deep knowledge of DC's legislative and regulatory processes
- Experience managing multi-year policy initiatives
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with executive audiences
- US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
