Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for state initiatives
- Develop actionable recommendations for legislative and regulatory proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multi-agency projects
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative stakeholders
- Monitor legislative developments and policy trends
- Manage grant programs and compliance reporting
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Indiana state government operations
- Experience with legislative processes and budget cycles
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
