Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and legislative trends to inform state policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop equitable health equity frameworksPrepare detailed policy briefs and legislative testimony for state legislators
- Oversee implementation of new public health regulations across Colorado counties
- Manage $2M+ grant programs supporting community health initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and community leaders
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess impacts on Colorado's regulatory landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years analyzing public health policy or government regulations
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and data-driven policy development
- Proven experience with stakeholder management and legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)
- Valid Colorado driver's license (for statewide travel)
- Professional certification in public health policy (e.g., CPH) preferred
