Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging urban policy trends in housing, economic development, and sustainability
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for Mayor's Office
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to implement city-wide strategic goals
- Present findings to City Council committees and community stakeholders
- Manage federal/state grant applications and compliance monitoring
- Lead data-driven evaluations of existing policy effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public sector policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative language and regulatory frameworks
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- Clear background check and security clearance eligibility
- Experience with Baltimore City government operations preferred
