Responsibilities
- Analyze federal, state, and local legislation to assess implications for Georgia's policy framework
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Coordinate intergovernmental initiatives between federal agencies and state/local authorities
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced data analytics tools
- Present policy findings to legislative committees and public forums
- Oversee implementation of new policies across state agencies
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (e.g., OMB, GAO standards)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in federal/state legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis
- Strong writing skills with demonstrated policy publication record
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with intergovernmental coordination projects
- Certification in Public Policy (CPP) or equivalent preferred
