Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions for county programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership review
- Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts on county operations
- Engage with community stakeholders to gather input on policy development
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $1M
- Mentor junior analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Policy Analysis, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven track record of developing successful policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Oregon state and federal regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Oregon driver's license (required for field visits)
