Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation, budgets, and regulations to identify fiscal impacts and policy implications
- Prepare comprehensive research reports and policy briefs for executive leadership and state legislators
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to develop evidence-based policy recommendations
- Present findings to legislative committees and public stakeholders using data visualization
- Monitor emerging policy trends and best practices across state governments
- Lead cross-functional projects to implement policy reforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Deep understanding of Oklahoma state government operations and legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (may require travel to state facilities)
