Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy impacts and recommend evidence-based solutions for urban development initiatives
- Collaborate with legislative stakeholders to draft actionable policy frameworks
- Lead interdepartmental task forces on public infrastructure modernization projects
- Prepare comprehensive legislative briefings and executive summaries
- Conduct quantitative research using advanced statistical modeling tools
- Oversee program compliance with state regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and develop departmental best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar public projects
- Expert knowledge of Minnesota state legislative processes
- Professional certification (e.g., PPFA) preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
