Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft legislative recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using data visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative committees and stakeholders
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess Texas compliance requirements
- Present findings to senior officials and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization
- Deep knowledge of Texas legislative processes and administrative law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- US citizenship required
