Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and trends to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and draft legislative proposals, regulations, and policy briefs for state initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement public health programs across Texas
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Monitor federal and state legislative activities affecting public health priorities
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Lead special projects addressing emerging public health challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative data analysis and policy evaluation
- Proficiency in health information systems and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and public communication
- Knowledge of Texas state government operations and legislative processes
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
