Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health policies aligned with CDC guidelines
- Oversee community vaccination programs and emergency response coordination
- Analyze health data trends to identify emerging public health threats
- Manage cross-departmental initiatives with healthcare partners and non-profits
- Prepare federal grant applications and manage compliance reporting
- Lead public health awareness campaigns targeting underserved populations
- Supervise a team of public health specialists and support staff
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health management experience
- Active Florida Public Health Administrator certification
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (Tableau/SPSS)
- Demonstrated success with federal grant management (HRSA/CDC)
- Experience with emergency preparedness protocols (NIMS/ICS)
- Strong knowledge of Florida's public health statutes and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
