Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines
- Oversee $15M+ budget allocation for health programs and initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental crisis response teams during health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to drive policy recommendations
- Manage 15+ staff members and foster high-performance culture
- Collaborate with federal, state, and community health partners
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years progressive public health administration experience
- Valid Florida Public Health Administrator certification
- Proven track record in managing multi-million dollar health programs
- Expertise in health data analytics and policy development
- Strong crisis management and emergency response leadership
- Experience with federal grant applications (HRSA, CDC)
- Fluency in English/Spanish required
