Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Indianapolis communities
- Oversee departmental budgets and resource allocation for health initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government agencies on health equity projects
- Analyze local health data to identify trends and inform strategic planning
- Manage staff and volunteers while ensuring compliance with public health regulations
- Represent the department in community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Evaluate program effectiveness and prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Proven expertise in health data analysis and strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of Indiana public health regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder engagement
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
