Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies aligned with Boston's Health Equity Framework
- Oversee $5M+ budgets for community health initiatives and grant-funded programs
- Lead cross-departmental collaborations with hospitals, schools, and community organizations
- Manage crisis response protocols for public health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Supervise 15+ staff members including epidemiologists, health educators, and data analysts
- Analyze population health data to identify disparities and inform policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in public health administration or policy
- Proven track record managing budgets exceeding $1M and large-scale programs
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and community engagement strategies
- Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience using public health data platforms
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and ability to travel citywide
- Experience working in municipal or county government highly preferred
