Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation of public health initiatives aligned with county and state guidelines
- Manage departmental budget ($2M+) and ensure fiscal accountability
- Develop community health outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Supervise team of 15+ health professionals and program specialists
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding streams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health management
- Proven grant writing and compliance experience ($500K+ projects)
- Tennessee Public Health Administrator certification required
- Advanced data analytics proficiency (SPSS, Tableau)
- Experience with EHR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Strong stakeholder management skills across government entities
