Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies for disease prevention and community wellness
- Oversee budget allocation for health programs and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives addressing health equity and social determinants
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and emergency response protocols
- Manage grant applications and reporting for federal/state health funding opportunities
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations
- Represent Fulton County at regional health coalitions and legislative hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health management experience in government or non-profit settings
- Valid Georgia Public Health Administrator certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in health data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SAS) and EHR systems
- Demonstrated success managing grants over $500K annually
- Deep knowledge of CDC guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and Affordable Care Act regulations
- Exceptional crisis communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
