Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven public health strategies for San Francisco communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for health crisis response
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal/state health program budgets
- Present policy recommendations to senior leadership and legislative bodies
- Mentor junior staff and conduct public health training workshops
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CA Privacy Act, and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid California Public Health Analyst certification
- Demonstrated experience with health policy development
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
