Responsibilities
- Design and implement disease surveillance systems for Cleveland's diverse population
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and disparities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for City Council and health partners
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses with local healthcare providers
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives with budgets exceeding $2M
- Mentor junior analysts and present findings to community stakeholders
- Collaborate with CDC and Ohio Department of Health on state-wide programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Valid Ohio Public Health Registration (PHR) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with health disparities research
- Strong project management skills with multi-stakeholder coordination
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
