Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Develop and implement public health surveillance systems for disease prevention
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for government stakeholders
- Manage grants and budgets for public health initiatives
- Train staff on public health informatics and data visualization tools
- Collaborate with community organizations on health equity initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of public health analysis experience in government setting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) credential required
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
