Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and emerging threats
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for state legislators
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response initiatives
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing public health campaigns
- Present findings to stakeholders including healthcare providers and community leaders
- Monitor program effectiveness using KPIs and adjust strategies as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government or non-profit health administration
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Georgia state government clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with CDC and HHS regulatory frameworks
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Project management certification (PMP or similar)
- Strong written communication skills for policy documentation
