Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate public health intervention programs across Georgia's 159 counties
- Collaborate with federal agencies (CDC, NIH) and state legislators on health initiatives
- Present complex health data to policymakers through concise reports and visualizations
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health policy analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven track record of developing data-driven health policy recommendations
- Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Experience with federal grant writing and compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent preferred
