Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and risks
- Develop evidence-based health intervention strategies for diverse communities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement county-wide health programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and government officials
- Manage public health grants and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote health equity
- Monitor emerging health threats and recommend mitigation measures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government or non-profit public health roles
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and health policy frameworks
- Experience managing public health grants and budgets
- Excellent communication skills for community engagement
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- PH certification (CPH) preferred
