Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies for Sacramento County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives with local government partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports for County Board of Supervisors and state agencies
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with regulations
- Lead community outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government or public health administration
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Experience with CDC/DOH reporting protocols
- Proven track record in health policy development
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
