As a key member of our Health Equity & Analytics team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex health data into actionable insights. You'll drive evidence-based decision-making while ensuring our services address the needs of diverse communities across King County.
Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological data analysis and surveillance for public health threats
- Develop predictive models for disease outbreaks and health trends
- Coordinate interagency emergency response protocols
- Design health equity impact assessments for new policies
- Present findings to executive leadership and community stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and public health reporting standards
- Mentor junior analysts on data visualization best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for statistical modeling
- Experience with GIS mapping and spatial data analysis
- Knowledge of CDC reporting protocols and FERPA compliance
- Proven ability to translate data into policy recommendations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
