Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and implement public health intervention programs targeting underserved communities
- Coordinate with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and nonprofit organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500k+ annually
- Train public health staff on data analysis methodologies
- Respond to public health emergencies per CDC protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government or non-profit public health
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and management
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
