Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and outbreak patterns
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with local health departments and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and federal compliance requirements
- Manage grant-funded programs ensuring proper allocation and reporting
- Provide technical guidance to local health departments on public health interventions
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and recommend continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC/HRSA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
