Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and data analysis for statewide health trends
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for chronic disease prevention programs
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response initiatives during public health crises
- Manage federal grant compliance and performance reporting for $5M+ portfolios
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise community health assessment projects
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government/public health analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R and spatial mapping software
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or equivalent credential
- Proven grant management experience with federal/state agencies
- Ohio residency required at time of hire
