Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological surveillance systems for disease tracking
- Analyze complex health data to identify emerging public health threats
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health initiatives
- Collaborate with federal agencies (CDC, NIH) on grant-funded research projects
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergency responses
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government/public health analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R/Python for statistical modeling
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation required
- Demonstrated experience with CDC surveillance systems
- Strong background in health policy development and implementation
