Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological research and data analysis to identify public health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate with state agencies and community partners on grant-funded health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for county leadership and public stakeholders
- Supervise junior staff and oversee program budget compliance and reporting
- Advise on public health emergency preparedness and response protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to county sites
- Experience with federal grant administration and compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- PHR or REHS certification preferred
