Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop health equity policies and resource allocation plans
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives and community outreach
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government/public health program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Proven track record of securing federal/state grants ($1M+ preferred)
- Experience developing health equity frameworks and culturally responsive interventions
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- PHRP or CPHEP certification highly desirable
