Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop and implement public health intervention strategies for vulnerable populations
- Lead community outreach programs to improve health literacy and access to services
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for county commissioners and stakeholders
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local health agencies to align initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee data quality assurance processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government or non-profit public health
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., CDC, HRSA)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and public health privacy regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
