Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and public health emergencies
- Develop data-driven health intervention strategies for underserved communities
- Analyze population health metrics using GIS mapping and statistical modeling
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county board meetings and state health agencies
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and budget allocations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of government/public sector experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R and health data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Valid California Driver's License
