Responsibilities
- Design and implement population health programs targeting Memphis's most vulnerable communities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop public health emergency response protocols
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding for health initiatives
- Present findings to policymakers, community leaders, and the public
- Oversee compliance with CDC and Tennessee Department of Health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government or public health sector
- Advanced data analysis proficiency (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Tennessee Public Health Certification
- Proven grant management experience with federal agencies
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with community health assessment methodologies
