Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and public health threats
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with local health departments on emergency response protocols
- Present findings to senior leadership and stakeholder committees
- Manage grant-funded public health programs with $1M+ budgets
- Mentor junior analysts and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of epidemiological analysis experience
- Valid California Public Health Analyst certification
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R and SPSS
- Experience with CHIS or CAHPS datasets
- Strong policy writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and California health codes
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
