Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions for Miami-Dade County
- Analyze complex health data to identify emerging trends and inform policy decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Develop community partnerships to address social determinants of health
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislators and federal agencies
- Oversee grant-funded projects totaling $2M+ annually
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate interagency initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation
- Demonstrated experience with health equity initiatives
- Strong written/verbal communication in English and Spanish
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Experience with federal grant reporting requirements
