Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance programs
- Develop and implement community health improvement plans
- Analyze healthcare data to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded initiatives totaling $2M+ annually
- Train local healthcare providers on new health regulations
- Present findings to state legislators and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 5+ years of public health administration experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R statistical software
- Experience with CDC grant management systems
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA compliance
- Emergency Management certification preferred
