Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and inform public health interventions
- Develop evidence-based reports and presentations for county leadership and community stakeholders
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
- Lead community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement health improvement strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise data collection processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or research
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of HIPAA and CDC protocols
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
