Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable communities
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding for health initiatives
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health departments
- Lead community outreach campaigns to improve health literacy and access
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC, HRSA)
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health emergency preparedness protocols
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
