Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and policy gaps
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement health equity programs
- Prepare legislative briefings and testimony for state policymakers
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting vulnerable populations
- Conduct community outreach to gather stakeholder feedback
- Monitor federal health policy changes for state compliance opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or government relations
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS)
- Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes Title 36 (Health)
- Experience with grant management and federal reporting requirements
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse community stakeholders
