Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data and trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs for state legislators and agency leadership
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations and healthcare providers
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting public health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports on program effectiveness and policy impacts
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and healthcare administrators on cross-functional projects
- Present findings to public health committees and advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy Analysis, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit policy development
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Minnesota's public health framework
- Experience with health equity and social determinants of health
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
