Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform public health strategies
- Develop evidence-based health policies and intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives for chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Lead community outreach campaigns to promote health education and access to services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health emergency response protocols
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience securing and managing public health grants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Missouri driver's license
