Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Develop and implement community health improvement plans in collaboration with local organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for county leadership and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Conduct community outreach and education on health equity initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of health program metrics and outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health policy or program analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of California public health regulations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
