Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging health trends and disparities
- Develop and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives and community outreach efforts
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program analysis or research
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license
