Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Atlanta's underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and recommend targeted interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to coordinate health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health program management experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Demonstrated experience with community-based participatory research
- Strong understanding of Georgia public health regulations and reporting requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Georgia driver's license with reliable transportation
