Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health data to identify disease trends and disparities across LA County regions
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for public health policies and emergency response protocols
- Collaborate with community organizations to design targeted health intervention programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county officials and state health agencies
- Maintain surveillance systems for communicable disease outbreaks and environmental health hazards
- Lead cross-functional teams on public health research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health data analysis or program evaluation
- Expertise in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with health equity frameworks and culturally responsive communication
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent preferred
